Appraisal Director |
Under administrative direction of the Deputy Chief of Staff – Real Estate, the Appraisal Director is responsible for all real estate valuations made in house by appraisal staff as well as all appraised values made by contract Appraisers; responsible for oversight and planning of the annual maintenance projects as well as the six year Sexennial Reappraisal and the third year Triennial Update valuations; responsible for management and oversight of the appraisal division; basic understanding of tax incentives such as TIF’s, Exemptions, Abatements and the CAUV processes; performs other related duties as required. This position is privy to confidential information and performs a variety of fiduciary tasks for the Auditor’s Office. |

Tax Incentives Specialist |
Under the general supervision of the Tax Incentives Supervisor, the Tax Incentives Specialist performs a variety of duties in the area of tax incentives (Exemptions/Real Estate, Abatements & Public Utilities, TIF and CAUV Parcels); prepares and maintains property records in the CAMA and Tax systems; maintains the values, documents and spreadsheets relating to Public Utility, Railroad, Community Reinvestment Areas (CRA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Enterprise Zone (EZ) abated parcels; aids nonprofit corporations in obtaining tax exemption from real estate taxes; processes new TIF applications; performs other related duties as required. |

Manufactured Homes Specialist |
Under general supervision of the Transfer & Conveyance Supervisor, the Manufactured Homes Specialist verifies accuracy and correctness of all data pertaining to manufactured home titles, (e.g., Real Estate transfers and file maintenance); assists the public at the counter; maintains inter-governmental funds (e.g., pay-ins, transfers, etc.); enters real estate information using data processing equipment; processes certificates through Tax Accounting functions such as adders and remitters; submits proper paperwork to FCAO Appraisal Dept. when a manufactured home is damaged/destroyed/relocated/newly located in Franklin County or when a new or existing manufactured home needs appraised; updates computer database records; assists the public; performs other related duties as required. |
